In this episode of "How I Met Your Mother" I really enjoyed the optimism.  It showed how if you keep dreaming and believing in yourself that you can accomplish anything.  I mean do not get me wrong, a person cannot be positive and optimistic all the time, but this episode is telling you not to give up.  I believe that is the main purpose of the show.  Another thing I think this episode is about is how a group of friends grow and change together through out the years.  I hope that I will be lucky enough to have life long friends like the three of them are.  This episode gives me hope for the future and is telling me not to give up on something that I want.  One thing I did not like was how Barney used girls just for their bodies,  I do not believe that is right.  However,  I am glad that he eventually found a girl and he realized that he wanted an actual relationship with her.   This show makes me want to get a group of close friends together and start a tradition of some kind, just like they did.  Maybe that could be something that keeps me and my friends together.  Overall, I enjoyed the show an I had never seen it before.  It has comidy Dan a deeper meaning that you don't even realize you are getting.   That to me is always a good show.

In Class Writting "The hall was silent..."

The hall was silent until she heard a wild pitter pattering noise.  It sounded like a little hail storm raging through her house.  She started looking for the wild noise.  First, she looked in her garage, nothing in there that was out of the ordinary.  Then, she checked in the bathroom, the only thing in there was her huge collection of make up and hair care products.  After the bathroom, she went to her bedroom.  As soon as she walked in she saw that all of her belongings had been thrown all over the room.  There were clothes haning from her bed posts and her pillows were all over her bed.  None of her stuff was where she had left it just hours before.  Once again she started to hear the pitter patter so she continued her search, now a little more cautious than before.  Her house is a common two story house with two bedrooms and one bathroom.  She had already checked her bedroom and the bathroom so the only bedroom left was the guest bedroom.  She cautiously opened the door and to her supprise and relief, nothing was out of place.  The fith place she checked was her office.  She walked through the threshold and all of a sudden found what the noise was.  It was her little kitten playing with a ball of yarn.  Although she will never know what destroyed her room...

"The Canary-Colored Caravan of Death" RR

"The Canary-Colored Caravan of Death" was interesting to me because I do not really read comics.  I enjoyed the pictures that the comic provided because it allowed me to follow along with the story line.  This story was very sparatic and was difficult to follow at some points because of the lack of transitions.  I believe that this story is about the effect the fathers life and death had on the girl.  It showed her life before he died and after his death and it illustrated her feelings about things that he had done.  I believe the title comes from the coloring hook that she used to have when she was a child and her father corrected her in how to color it and how he seemed to spite her father.  Another example of her spite in at his funeral when everyone was saying how it was such a shame that her father had passes away and she just wanted to yell what she really thought about her dad.  She also thought that the fact that they lived in a little town in the mountains where it was just her and her family together all the time that her father had no escape of the life that he had other than in death.  Overall, I thought the story lacked meaning but it was just an excerpt so with the whole story it might make more sense.

In class writing 1

I feel that i am not afraid of being creative, I enjoy writing small tid-bits and drawling and other creative things.  However, I am afraid to show my works to other people because I fear that they are not very good.  I do not like putting my creative side out in the world because I fear that people will tear me down so I just keep them to myself.  One way I could "come out of my shell" and conquer my fear would be to just put some of my things out there, I could use this blog to help me achieve self-efficacy.  Another way I could work through my fear is to put my self out there and be more outgoing, make new friends and just expand my viewpoint and put that into writing.  I know that my writing needs a lot of work but hopefully through this blog and everyones comments I can become a better more fluid writer.
