My Last First
Being in high school has been great. I've made a bunch of friends that I consider to be family. Also, high school has allowed me to be on the volleyball team which I am a captain of this year. Last night I had my last first volleyball game of the season. I was so excited to start off the season, with new players stepping up and brand new jerseys I was shaking with excitement. My entire team was lined up and they announced the starters. Once they called my name I got a huge smile on my face and I went up to shake the opposing coaches hand. Our JV had started out the night good with their first victory of the season. We play best 3 out of 5 and we won over our opponent in 3 games. We were in fire with spiking, perfect passes, and beasly blocking we easily over took our opponent. It felt amazing winning my last first game of the season.
Soooooo busy!
So this year as a high school senior I decided to take post secondary classes and get a head start on my future. Well little did I know that with adding 3 college classes I would never have time to just be at home or just chill with my friends. I take my classes in the morning and I am back to my high school at 11:30 then I have volleyball practice after school and I don't get home until 6. Then I scarf down any food I can find an start on my pile of homework. By then I get a shower and then I am so tired that I just fall asleep. I never get to see my family or even have a conversation with them. My life is so hectic right now, all I can hope for is some time off to just relax and spend time with the people that I love.
