Final Project
So I never thought that I would be saying this but I actually enjoyed working on the final project for this class. I am putting a fun twist on the assignment and I am actually looking forward to presenting it which is odd for me because I absolutely hate public speaking. But I had a lot of fun creating my presentation because I chose to create a prezi. I have never used that program before and I really enjoyed it. For those of you who do not know what a prezi is, it is similar to a PowerPoint but it does not have such a rigid structure on how it is presented. instead of just transitioning from one slide to the next prezi puts all the slides on one page and it slides from one to the next. I really enjoyed learning how to use this and I like it a lot better than PowerPoint. I was so excited about this new toy that I made a PowerPoint that I am working on for Spanish into a prezi. This is making me really excited for Thursday because I want to share my newly found enjoyment. I found myself smiling about this assignment rather than grumbling, which is not what I was expecting. I thought that this assignment was going to take forever and that I was going to struggle greatly with it. That was not the case. I got it done in only an hour and I actually had fun doing it. I cannot wait to share this project with you. :)

Everything is a remix
These videos are very educated and heartfelt. The perspective of the young, calm, cool, and collected narrator makes the video seem modern and intuitive. Overall, the films make a very good point of how everything that is done or has been done in any aspect of life is a remix. The narrator talks about how basic, everyday things are just an improved version of something that came before. For example, Walt Disney filmed some of the most recognizable stories and he was not the creator of them, he just put them on film. He did not feel that stealing the ideas for those movies was wrong because the patton had expired. However, when he created Mickey Mouse he fought for the patton expiration date to be extended. This is also an example of how greedy people are. We see no shame in copying or stealing if it betters our monitary income, but if someone creates a similar product that puts our product at risk then we throw a fit and take them to court. People are hypocrites and we just do not like to be cheated. That is one of the main ideas of these videos.

in class #14 Parents help son in love life
He sat in his room all day and all night, and he barely came out to eat or use the bathroom. He has done this for three days now. All because his girlfriend broke up with him... It all started when they went out on a date. He was low on cash and wanted to go cheap. He did not realize that she would be wanting some big extravigant date. They ended up going on a picinic, but his car was in the shop so his mother had to drive. Then once they got there it started to rain and they were stuck out in the middle of a field. After that they found shelter under a tree but the wind was blowing very hard and it blew the girls jacket away and he did not offer his because he was cold. Once the storm stopped his mother arrived and the girl demanded to be taken home. Later that night she broke up with him. His parents felt bad for him and wanted to help get them back together, so they made the perfect plan. They made reservations at the fanciest resurant in town and they even rented a horse drawn carrage, and they planned it all on a clear night to avoid another weather disaster. His mother went into his room and pulled out his tux and layed it accross him in the bed. She told him to get dressed and she walked out of the room without giving and explanation. A few moments later he walked out, dressed clean and sharp and ask what was going on. His parents told him and he got in the carrage to go to the girl's home. When he got there the girl opened the door and she was shocked with what she saw. She was unsure but she went and got dressed and agreed to go with him. They had an amazing night and decided to get back together.

In class writing #8 Dead Guy
Detective: I arrived on the scene, flashed my badge to the officer outside the door of the hotel, and he let me in. There was a familiar odor that I have come to know well, death. I followed the pungent smell to the bathroom where I found the body. He was once a handsome young male, but now he was laying dead in the bathtub.
Coroner: As I walked up to the body it was the typical pale, purple color that comes with death mixed with water. I examined the body saw a radio in the tub beside the victims body. The obvious cause of death, but as a coroner I have learned never to assume. With further investigation I found that there was a gash on the back of his head and the whole scene looked suspicious. I told the detective with the shiny badge that I would need to take the body back to the lab to do more examining, so we removed the body from the tub.
Lawyer: Everyone believed that this was a case of suicide and that the hound victim was depressed. The detective even found evidence of cyber bullying. After the coroner ruled the victims death as a murder the detectives quickly searched for the culprit. After a few weeks a major clue was found, a high heel that was under the hotel bed. He soon found my client and accused her if murder. I am her to tell you, ladies and gentlemen, that she is an innocent woman. I know this because she is clearly not strong enough to bludgeon the large male and carry him into the bath tub. My client is not a heartless woman and could meet do this to another human being. My client is an innocent woman!

In Class Writting #9: Ex Girlfriend
As I am walking through the baby store with my 8 month pregnant wife I see a familiar face. It is one of my ex-girlfriends. Here is a little background on this whole situation. We dated approximately 7 years ago and it lasted for about 2 years. Towards the end of our relationship she started getting extra clingy and bringing up the "M" word... marriage. I was still an immature kid back then so I broke it off and I told her that I just was not the marrying kind. This is the first time that I have seen her since then. After we broke up I met my wife. We dated for about 3 years and I matured as I was with her and she made me realize that I wanted to get married and not just to anyone, but to her. So a few months later we got married and now we are expecting our first child. Now I am staring my ex-girlfriend in the face and I am not scared at all. I am confident in my current relationship and I assume that she has found a wonderful guy to get married to that is not me. I go up to her with my wife to introduce them and the look on my ex-girlfriend’s face is kind of weary but she does not look to be upset. Which I would hope not considering the fact that she is the one that ran into us shopping at a baby store. After some semi awkward introductions and small talk she reveals that she too is married and about 3 months pregnant. I tell her how happy I am for her and I wish her the best and my wife and I continue with our shopping. This is one situation that could have gone very badly but it turned out to be a good thing because now both of us got closure and we left each other with hopeful futures.

Once Upon A Time
Body Paragraph
There are many dynamic characters in this episode of "Once Upon a Time." There is also a reoccurring theme of good vs. evil that the characters fit into. The "good" characters are Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison), David Nolan/ Prince Charming (Josh Dallas), and Mary Margret Blanchard/ Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin). The characters that are portrayed as "evil" are Regina Mills/ Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) and Mr. Gold/ Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle). The cast was chosen very well, Jennifer Morrison plays a perfect innocent and naive woman while Lana Parrilla gives the sharpe evil sneer of an evil queen. As a whole, the characters play off of each other remarkably well. Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin are very convincing with the love scene that is held between them. There are also very complex characters such as Rumplestiltskin who is played by Robert Carlyle. Robert plays this character in a way that makes you like him even though he is clearly portrayed as evil. All in all the directors did an incredible job casting this show. The characters play their part and are extremely convincing.

In this episode of "How I Met Your Mother" I really enjoyed the optimism. It showed how if you keep dreaming and believing in yourself that you can accomplish anything. I mean do not get me wrong, a person cannot be positive and optimistic all the time, but this episode is telling you not to give up. I believe that is the main purpose of the show. Another thing I think this episode is about is how a group of friends grow and change together through out the years. I hope that I will be lucky enough to have life long friends like the three of them are. This episode gives me hope for the future and is telling me not to give up on something that I want. One thing I did not like was how Barney used girls just for their bodies, I do not believe that is right. However, I am glad that he eventually found a girl and he realized that he wanted an actual relationship with her. This show makes me want to get a group of close friends together and start a tradition of some kind, just like they did. Maybe that could be something that keeps me and my friends together. Overall, I enjoyed the show an I had never seen it before. It has comidy Dan a deeper meaning that you don't even realize you are getting. That to me is always a good show.
